Laura Davis AIA IFDA, Vice President, Director of Marketing at HPD Architecture

Laura Davis is a registered Architect and Interior Designer in Dallas, Texas. As a founding member of HPD Architecture LLC, she is highly involved in business development and serves as Director of Marketing for the firm. Laura uses social media to increase HPD Architecture’s brand exposure in the marketplace. Tools such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Meetup enable her to foster a dialogue and grow an A/E/C community both online and in person. Audio podcasts and blog posts are a part of her firm’s content marketing strategy.
Laura has spoken about alternative marketing strategies and social media for architects at the 2010 AIA Minnesota conference, the 2010 Texas Society of Architects, AIA Conference, and AIA Dallas. Laura is the organizer of The Architecture Happy Hour networking Meetup group in Dallas and also serves as the President Elect and Vice President of Public Relations for the Texas Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association.

Carl Seville NARI CR, LEED® AP, President and founder of Seville Consulting

Carl Seville, president of Seville Consulting, LLC, is a green builder, educator, and consultant on sustainability to the residential construction industry. During his 25 years as a remodeling contractor, he led the development of Earthcraft House Renovation and supervised the pilot homes for that program. His industry awards include the 2008 Excellence Award from Residential Design Build Magazine, the 2009 Energy Value Housing Award, the 2005 and 2007 Green Remodeling Advocate of the Year, the 2004 and 2006 National Green Building Awards, the Southface Energy Institute Award of Excellence, and the 2006 EarthCraft House Leadership award. Carl is an NAHB Certified Trainer, a HERS rater, a BPI Building Analyst, and holds the LEED AP Homes and Green Rater designations. He certifies homes under all major green building programs. He was a co-author of the ReGreen guidelines and is the co-author of a new textbook, Green Building, Principles and Practices in Residential Construction, scheduled for publication in 2011 He currently hosts the blog www.greenbuildingcurmudgeon.com.

Stephen Denton RA, LEED® AP, Architect at Stanley Beaman & Sears

Steve Denton was principal of his own firm for 10 years before joining Stanley Beaman & Sears three years ago. He has compiled over twenty years of professional experience with various firms in South Carolina, Illinois, and Georgia. Project type experience has ranged from residential projects, mixed-use structures, school buildings, office buildings, and a children's hospital.
He has been a registered architect since 1993 and LEED accredited since 2000. He has also been engaged for many years with teaching architectural design, either as an adjunct professor or as a guest critic. This experience has allowed him a better understanding of the design process and the making of an architect to hopefully improve his own abilities to efficiently and effectively design and communicate ideas and thoughts about global as well as specific issues.

Brian Zeis President and founder of Anjer Construction

Brian Zeis is the founder and president of Anjer Construction, a building, remodeling and home repair firm incorporated in Georgia in 1985. Brian has acquired a broad range of practical, hands-on and managerial experience for all types of construction from over 30 years of experience in light commercial and new residential construction including custom homes, major renovations, residential remodeling, and additions/expansions.
Brian began his building career working in Los Angeles and has been involved in the construction industry since 1977. In 1983, Brian passed the California licensing exam and obtained a California State General Contractor's License. Since his move to Georgia in 1984, he has engaged in well over 100 building and remodeling projects. He is a member of Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
